Christian Living Academy is an organized learning program that guides students through the fundamentals of Christianity with a focus on applying them in daily living. The aim of the academy is to make the Christian faith a living reality in the lives of students, showing them how to practice Christianity in every area of life.
The curriculum covers the following themes:
1. Replication of the Life of God
- God made man in His image to be exactly like Him
- Man was exactly like God, a creator with the very life of God in Him
- Man had a Spirit, Soul & Body
- The spirit is the real man, having a direct connection with God
- Man’s body is his access and legal right to dwell on planet Earth
- Man has a Soul which connects the Spiritual with the Physical, i.e, the Spirit with the Body
- Man had fellowship with God in Eden
2. Losing the life of God
- Man Sinned/disobeyed
- His nature became corrupt & Sinful
- Man’s Spirit became a dead one
- His mind became evil
- His body became susceptible to sickness and pain until death
- Poverty, lack and every result of sin came to man
- Man couldn’t overcome Sin
3. Restoration of the life of God
- Man is in despair not able to overcome Sin & Death
- Man cannot save Himself, He needs a Savior
- God came to save man, He came as is Son
- The Son came in flesh as Man. Man Sinned, Man has to pay the sacrifice
- Salvation came. It is open to all men
- Salvation is free
- Salvation brought eternal life. A redemption of the life man lost but in a better way. God doesn’t breath into man. He literally begins to live inside man.
4. Accepting the Life of God
- Two types of men now exist – Those from the direct line of Adam with a fallen life, those with a renewed life from the line of Jesus
- Anyone who receives Salvation recieves the Life of God
- Salvation is by confession that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, He came in flesh, died for the sins of men, was buried, and resurrected after 3 days.
- When Salvation is received – a man receives a new Spirit
- The Spirit is perfect, cannot sin, cannot be corrupted
- The soul/mind remains the same – bearing the same information it had always had, except for faith in Jesus
- The body remains exactly the same
5. Living the Life of God to its fullness
- In Salvation, God gave man eternal life. This life is full, the very life of God himself.
- This life enables man to live above sin and all of its consequences
- This life is fully available in the Spirit of man, man must live it out into the mind and through the body
- To let this life flow out, man must renew his mind before the life in the Spirit can be channelled out
- To maintain a perfect state of synchrony between the mind body and the Spirit, the mind must continually be renewed. This is because other information and knowledge are competing for space in the mind to choke the knowledge acquired from the Spirit.
- The sole agent of change and renewal in the mind that keeps the mind in perfect synchrony with the life of God in the Spirit is the Word of God
- Christianity is a system of life that is centers around God’s desire to see man living exactly like him and giving out his son Jesus christ to start a race of people that are cut off from the Adamic life and now have the life of God.
6. Christianity
- This is a daily state of maintaining a perfect relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ and by His Spirit.
- To achieve this, certain spiritual activities are required
- The study of the Word of God and all of its derivatives is essential to maintain a perfect state of mind.
- Constant communication with the founder of the life of Christians is important as He guides on how tto make the best of the life he as given. This comes through different form of communications also know as prayers – meditation, singing, speaking in tongues, etc.
- For growth, protection, and obedience to the will of God, Christians are required to fellowship with one another as much as they can. This is the reason Christians go to Church.
- As lovers of God, ever Christian receives a nature of Love which motivates them to share the Gospel of Christ with others who are non-Christians so they come into a life God has freely given to all men.
- Christianity is not a religion. It is a system God designed for men to live like him in perfection and above sin, by coming to seek man and show man the way to live by himself.
